For NZ trades & SME owners · One-time, fixed prices

Win more government and council work.

Councils and government agencies advertise thousands of contracts every year — roading, maintenance, cleaning, building, grounds. We tell you which are worth chasing, and we write the paperwork so you don’t lose your evenings to it.

Contracts come from GETS, the government’s tender website · One-time packages · NZD, no GST

New Zealand agencies and councils advertised 3,719 tenders (opens in new tab) on GETS in the 2024/25 financial year. Most small firms never bid for any of them.

We only read GETS’s public listings feed. You’ll need to register on GETS to download the full documents or bid.

New to this? Government departments and councils advertise many of their contracts on GETS, the government’s tender website, and anyone can bid. The reason most small firms don’t is the paperwork, and that’s the part we do.

Write My Bid

Best if you want us to write the submission from your answers (you still price it and send it in).

You answer some questions, we write the whole submission for you.

  • Full written submission (how you’ll do the job, programme, health & safety, quality, sustainability, local benefit, key people)
  • Formatted to tender forms
  • One round of changes
  • Up to $1M contracts (bigger quoted)

You’ll need: the GETS link or tender documents, plus your answers to our questions (capability, people, health & safety and insurance facts as you hold them).

You’ll get the intake form straight after payment.

Our promise: If we miss a mandatory requirement that was in the tender documents, and you're excluded because of it, we refund you in full. Conditions

What we don’t do: we don’t send in (lodge) the bid for you, we don’t price the job, and we don’t write your safety, insurance or qualification claims — those come from you and are used exactly as given.

FAQ

Short answers for busy owners.

What if I don’t have a tender in mind yet?

Then don’t buy Should You Bid yet — start with the free shortlist. If you’ve already paid and you have not named a tender, ask us to refund before we begin work and we refund in full (see Refunds). Or reply to your confirmation email and we’ll help you pick one from what’s currently open in your trade and region. You won’t be left holding a report you can’t use.

What if the answer is “don’t bid”?

That’s still a useful answer, and you still get the full report. Knowing a tender isn’t winnable before you spend three evenings on it is exactly what the $149 is for. We’d rather tell you not to bid than take $890 for a submission that was never going to score.
